Air France receives 4 stars in Skytrax's Covid-19 Airline Safety Rating
Skytrax's Covid-19 Airline Safety Rating evaluates the hygiene and safety measures implemented by airlines, both on board and at the airport. Air France received 4 stars in the audit carried out in December 2020 by Skytrax, an international air transport rating organization.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAVEL TO AND FROM FRANCE
As of 31 January 2021, any departure from the French territory to a country outside the European area is prohibited, except for essential travel. If your travel is essential, you must justify your trip by presenting proof as well as a certificate for international travel which can be downloaded from the French Interior Ministry website. We recommend that you print and fill out this certificate before going to the airport.

In addition, conditions for entry and departure from Metropolitan France and French Overseas Territories have recently changed. You can check the latest travel requirements and types of authorized tests for your destination country on the TravelDoc website.
If you are traveling to Corsica, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours is mandatory. No test is required on other domestic flights.
A curfew is in effect in France due to the current health situation. To travel within France during the curfew, you must justify your trip by presenting a certificate of exceptional travel (attestation de déplacement dérogatoire) as well as your ticket.

COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION
Does your destination require a Covid-19 test? You must confirm the type of test (PCR, antigen, LAMP, etc.); where and how to carry it out (laboratory, pharmacy, doctor, etc.); and the required language and validity period of the test results on the TravelDoc website.

CABIN AIR RENEWED EVERY 3 MINUTES
- Our aircraft are equipped with an air recycling system consisting of HEPA «High Efficiency Particulate Air» filters identical to those used in operating theatres, which trap 99.9% of particles.
- The air in the cabin is therefore renewed every 3 minutes.
DAILY CLEANING AND REGULAR DISINFECTION
- Vacuuming of carpets and all seats, as well as head covers
- Cleaning and disinfection of all contact surfaces: trays, armrests, seat belts, entertainment screens, remote controls, overhead baggage racks, windows, door handles, etc.
Sanitary kit
On our long-haul flights, you will receive a personal sanitary kit. It includes a disinfectant wipe, a surgical mask and hand sanitizer. On all other flights, a disinfectant wipe is at your disposal as soon as you arrive on board.
Inflight service
Our inflight service has been adapted for your safety. On our domestic and short-haul flights, a glass of water will be served to you. On our other flights, our inflight service is maintained. Whenever possible, we serve film-wrapped or individually wrapped products.
Air filtration in cabins
Our aircraft are equipped with an air filtration system consisting of High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters identical to those used in hospital operating rooms.
Cabin air is thus completely refreshed every 3 minutes. These filters eliminate more than 99.97% of bacteria and viruses, ensuring an excellent air quality in our cabins which fully complies with health standards.
