Role
The Human Resources Intern will assist the HR Operations team providing an accurate and efficient Human Resources and Payroll service to employees in the UK and Ireland, including expatriates.
The role involves the administration and management of employee data, developing and reviewing policies and procedures, providing management information, administration of employee benefits and making recommendations for continual improvement.

Main Responsibilities
The role requires to support the HR Operations team on the following activities:
- Administration of employee remuneration including manual calculations, processing and checking salaries, overtime, shift premiums and allowances. Responsible for liaison with third party payroll processing bureau, distribution of pay slips and responding to day to day employee queries regarding pay.
- Administration and reimbursement of expenses such as duty transport and staff entertainment.
- To manage confidential employee and company records to ensure legal compliance.
- Administration of employee changes including starters, leavers, maternity, appointment changes and change of hours on SAP, Source and PWA. To check data integrity on a regular basis through audit checks making amendments where necessary.
- Administration of employee benefits such as salary reviews, incentives, pension, healthcare, company cars, eyecare vouchers and profit share. Preparing and communicating individual total reward statements.
- Administration of Travel benefits for existing and retired employees and related companies including updating records on a weekly basis.
- To produce and analyse timely accurate management information by using available technology effectively including headcount, turnover and attendance.
- To manage attendance records including annual leave and sick absence. To liaise with line managers and Human Resources Business Partners in providing advice and statistics where necessary.
- To create and review Human Resources policies, and working in conjunction with other members of the Human Resources team to implement and communicate to the business.
- To review and update departmental procedures and make suggestions for continual improvement.
- To deliver project work as required in line with the people strategy as agreed with the Human Resources Supervisor – Operations.
Required Knowledge
- Computer literate: Excel and Word
- Basic knowledge of Payroll and Tax
- Basic knowledge of Human Resource
- Working knowledge of English
