Adjustments to AIR FRANCE services from Southampton International airport to Paris CDG

From 29 March 2009, Air France is modifying its services between Southampton Airport and Paris CDG. The service will now be serving Paris Orly.

Air France´s franchise, Britair, will continue the 3 daily weekday flights between Southampton and Paris, with 1 flight on Saturdays and 1 flight on Sundays all operated by Airlinair, using AT5 aircraft with 48 seats. A slightly adjusted timetable allows for a convenient one day trip, short breaks in Paris or connections to Europe and afar destinations.

Air France and Britair enjoy a successful partnership on other routes namely Birmingham and Newcastle to Paris. Air France´s other franchise partners, Régional and CityJet, also operate services between the UK and France enabling the airline´s extensive regional presence in the UK.

Speaking about the service, Christine Ourmières, General Manager AIR FRANCE KLM UK and Ireland said, ‘Air France is committed to offering our customers in Southampton and its surrounding areas the highest possible quality in terms of service, schedule and price. Thanks to our successful partnership with Britair, our customers will continue to benefit from conveniently timed flights from Southampton to Paris and beyond.´

Passengers with existing bookings will be contacted directly and offered rebooking on Air France flights or a full refund. For further information, travellers may contact their travel agent or call the dedicated Air France call centre on 0871 663 3777.
