Simply log on and check in from home with the new online check in facility from Air France, now available for departing passengers at London Heathrow, London City and Manchester Airports.
Passengers can check in online at home or in the office. Just follow the prompts and select the relevant departure airport, enter the type of passenger id and the number, select the flight number and the seating preferences. Finally, click on the "Check In" button and print your boarding card.
To use this service, passengers should be in possession of an e-ticket and must use the same magnetic id card number (credit card or Flying Blue card) that they used when making the booking.
On arrival at the airport passengers bypass the check in area and simply head straight to the passport control security checks, through to the shops, cafes or lounges and onwards to the boarding gate.
This facility is available for passengers without luggage or passengers departing from airports where there is a specific luggage drop off facility*. In this instance online check in is available from 24 hours to 30 minutes before the flight's departure**.
Those passengers who are unable to take advantage of this new online check in facility can still save time by using the numerous automatic check in counters at London Heathrow, Manchester & London City airports.
