NEW TRANSATLANTIC DIRECT FLIGHTS
NEW AIR FRANCE DIRECT FLIGHTS BETWEEN
LONDON-HEATHROW, THE UK & IRELAND AND THE US:
TICKETS NOW ON SALE
Further to the announcement on 17 October of the signing of the joint venture agreement with the US carrier Delta, Air France is now pleased to confirm that its new transatlantic flight from London-Heathrow to Los Angeles is on sale today.
This daily flight will be operated by a Boeing 777 as from March 2008, with the following schedules:
- AF060 departing from London-Heathrow at 5pm and arriving in Los Angeles at 8.15pm (first flight commencing on 31 March)
- AF061 departing from Los Angeles at 8.25pm and arriving in London-Heathrow at 2.40pm the following day (first flight commencing on 30 March).
Passengers will be able to choose from the Economy (Tempo), Business (Espace Affaires) or First (Espace Première) cabin. A special introductory fare of £358 per person for a return in Economy class including all taxes is available for bookings made before midnight on Tuesday 18th December.
Similarly, Air France will shortly start selling tickets for 12 direct flights between the UK and Ireland and the US operated by Delta on an AF and DL code-share basis (flights commencing 30 March 2008):
- Daily flights: London-Heathrow/Atlanta, Manchester/Atlanta, Manchester/New York-JFK, Edinburgh/New York-JFK, London-Gatwick/New York-JFK, London-Gatwick/Cincinnati, Dublin/Atlanta*, Dublin/New York-JFK*, Shannon/New York-JFK*
(*subject to Government approval).
- Twice daily flights: London-Heathrow/New York JFK.

Since March 2007, the Air France subsidiary CityJet has been operating close to 70 daily flights under the “CityJet for Air France brand” between London-City and Belfast, Dublin, Dundee, Edinburgh, Geneva, Nice, Paris-Orly, Paris-CDG, Strasbourg and Zurich. CityJet for Air France means that Air France can offer a very modern and innovative product and strengthens its position as leader in the business travel market.
