International Newark Liberty Airport
The Newark Liberty International Airport, located between Newark and Elizabeth in the western suburbs of New York, was inaugurated in 1928 making it the oldest airport in New York. It was occupied by the U.S. Air Force during the Second World War. The airport is currently the world's 23rd busiest airport and 14th North American airport in terms of passengers. Like LaGuardia Airport and JFK, it is administrated by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
